It has been a while since I updated any news on here. School has taken priority over any of my writing - how sad is that?- and I have also been writing a lot on my blog, Maranda Writes @ Wordpress. In fact, I have also been planning my wedding for next September. I will have some Do-it-Yourself projects of mine posted on Throwing the Bouquet, another blog I started last year.
As for my next project, I have decided to do a short story collection with works I have crafted throughout my college career. The title and release information will be available within November ad will probably be available for download and paperback by the end of December. I'm looking forward to you all reading different genres by me. I always like to see what style of my writing readers react to the most. Take care and Happy Halloween! -Maranda

Yes, with the release of my book I am going to celebrate with my fiance tomorrow and drink an ice-cold Jagerbomb. Hoorah!
I will be updating everyone on my mid-summer poetry book release as well. :) Happy reading! I'm not going to lie: Producing and editing the file formatting for CreateSpace was a pain. I do, however, know what to expect for next time.
Vivian's links are on my Projects page. Feel free to purchase, loan from Kindle for 14 days FREE, or download a sample from Kindle as well. I would love to hear feedback. This first novel of mine means the world to me. My writing style and voice have evolved since I finished Vivian two years ago, but I am happy to let you all read it. :) Good afternoon my fellow friends and fans. I have come to update on Vivian, Falling. The release date is set for June 2nd. That's right, this upcoming Saturday my "baby" will be all over the world.
I am a bit nervous about the release. The typical first-published-jitters shake through my veins like the hot coffee I am drinking. I'm sure the caffeine hasn't hit me yet. I am tweaking the last few sentences and preparing my documents to be uploaded. This is so exciting to be doing all on my own. Even if my novel goes nowhere, I am extremely proud of myself for jumping through barriers in life to take this chance. Thank you all for the support. I would not have made it this far. Love and Peace, Maranda |
